The Sentinels
The Kingston Sentinels were founded in 2025 with a bold purpose, to ignite the passion for soccer in Kingston, Ontario, and elevate the game within our region. In 2026, we proudly entered League1 Ontario’s League2 Division, fielding both men’s and women’s squads and marking the return of semi-professional soccer to a community hungry for high-level competition.
Our name — Sentinels — reflects not just our connection to Kingston’s rich history of watchful guardianship, but our modern commitment to the sport we love: steadfast, vigilant and always striving for excellence.
Though we are new to the semi-professional stage, the Sentinels are built on long-standing community roots; with strong partnerships across Kingston’s youth soccer ecosystem, we strive to bridge the gap between grassroots development and elite competition. Our home matches will be played at CaraCo Home Field at the INVISTA Centre.
Looking beyond our League2 debut, the Sentinels are part of a wider vision: fostering local talent, strengthening community pride, and advancing pathways that lead to the Canadian Premier League and professional opportunities for players from Kingston and Eastern Ontario.
